Teaching a math is not easy, because we find a students that also not easy to learn mathematics. Jaworski (1994:83) says that it is not there a best way to teach mathematics.
Cocroft Report (1982:132) argues that the method can be used to study mathematics, among others: (1). Method of exposition, (2). Discussion method, (3). The method of problem solving, (4). Investigation, (5). Basic training skills and principles, (6). Method of application.
The constraints of teachers in improving student interest in learning mathematics is the understanding of the meaning of the theory, how to apply, the existing system, environmental conditions, and learning facilities. An example constraint is learning facilities such as the teacher will explain the wake of space, if there is no replication up space so students will have difficulty accepting this explanation.
In the teaching of mathematics teachers are also doomed to constraints, namely dealing with differences in their students' math skills, encouraging students to actively learn, develop math learning technology, the high achievement of study point attainment targets and the completion of the syllabus, etc..
Therefore, teachers should know the advantages and disadvantages of their students, plan activities appropriate to student ability levels, build knowledge and skills that he acquired a good student at school and at home, plan and use records of student progress (assessment), etc.
