Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (KBK)

Competency-based curriculum is the plan and arrangement of competencies to be achieved learning participants teaching and learning activities, assessment, and empowerment of educational resources. That competence can be defined as knowledge, skills, attitudes and values ​​that must be controlled by learners and is reflected in the habits of thinking and acting. CBC is a method in the development of research, dissemination, development.

There are new things in the CBC, are:
·         Emphasize a balance between the development of the attitude / moral, academic competence, life skills, arts and sports.
·         Focus communication skills through oral and written language and communicate.
·         Formulation of a clear standard of competence.
·         Learning is contextual.
·         Change the function of teachers / instructors are facilitators of learning.
Basic skills is the size of the minimum capabilities that include knowledge, skills and attitudes that must be achieved, it is known, and can be adapted by learners at every level of a subject. Basic skills of the student must be achieve to approve the specified competency standards.

Subject matter of learning on the subject of a CBC include study materials that can be either the field of teaching, content, process, skill, or a subject of scientific context. While the indicator is the achievement of its ability to base a more specific skills that can be used as a measure to assess the completeness of learning.
